Furnish Farmhouse Boutique started with a love for home decor and design — and as a way for Jill Davis and her husband, Chuck, to clean out their garage. Years before they’d open their brick and mortar location, the pair began with booths in antique stores. Jill had a very different career as an insurance fraud analyst then, but once they decided to turn their side business into a full-time one in 2017, she left all that behind. One of the things that sets their East Brainerd store apart from other home decor and gift shops is the connection that Jill and Chuck have with their customers, many of whom they know by name. That incredible community supported them through the pandemic and continues to help make Furnish Farmhouse Boutique the success it is today. It’s a legacy that Jill and Chuck are grateful to be able to share with their three children Spencer, 5, Mallory, 11 and Alex, 13.
