Shipping & Returns
Order and Shipping Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been successfully placed and another when your order has been dropped off for shipment. The shipping confirmation will include your order number, tracking number and ship date. When receiving your order confirmation please make sure your shipping address is correct as we are unable to redirect goods once they are en route to you. Orders that are returned to us because of address error will not be shipped back until the customer corrects their address and pays for additional shipping costs. Orders can take up to 3 business days (Monday-Friday) to be processed and dropped off for shipment.
Once items are dropped off for shipment, standard shipping in the continental US takes 1-5 business days in transit.
Expedited shipping is available however please note that expedited shipments take 2-3 days and all orders have to be placed by 12:00 pm EST to be processed the same day. For expedited shipping choose priority shipping at checkout. If you need overnight shipping, please call the store and we'll see what we can do.
Special instructions regarding shipment of furniture
Furniture, rugs and some lighting will be special ordered on your behalf. In stock furniture will ship within 4 weeks. Furniture and some large items will ship via common freight carrier. Freight transit times range from 3-4 weeks. Freight carriers deliver Monday through Friday from 9am – 5pm. A representative from the freight company will call to schedule a delivery date and time that works for you.
Any item that is backordered at time of purchase will ship as soon as it becomes available.
Furnish is not responsible for shipping delays due to the fault of the manufacturer or delivery carrier or for items that are lost or damaged in transit.
Where We Ship
We currently only ship within the USA.
Furnish cannot deliver to P.O. Box locations or military APO/FPO addresses.
NOTE: Shipping costs for special order items may be more than the prices shown below, and will depend on the item ordered, as well as the delivery address and shipping rates at the time the order is placed. If the shipping cost is more at the time your order is placed, you will be contacted and advised of the additional amount. The additional shipping amount must be paid before the order will be placed.

Please note that additional shipping costs may incur for any items that are special order, oversized and overweight. In this instance you'll receive an email and invoice for additional shipping costs. Once the invoice is paid, your shipment will go out.
We pride ourselves on not making a profit on shipping, however shipping is expensive for us. We thank you for always choosing to shop small businesses and for your understanding of costs!
Lost or Stolen Packages
We are not responsible for any items that go missing during transit or are misplaced upon delivery. We can require a signature for receipt of package, if you would like this please ensure that you email email@example.com at the time of your order.
You can cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase as long as your order has NOT been processed and dropped off for shipment.
Exchange/Return & Damages Policy
Returns are available for STORE CREDIT or EXCHANGE ONLY for the merchandise price, less shipping and handling. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
Any item that ships LTL carrier is not returnable.
Returns/exchanges are accepted within 7 days of delivery date. Items must be returned unopened/unused and in their original packaging. To return an item, follow the directions below:
- Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your inquiry and to receive a Return Merchandise number.
- If the return is a result of error on our end, we will provide a shipping label once we have responded to your inquiry. You will then be able to print a pre-paid UPS shipping label. Print the pre-paid shipping label, affix it to your package and take the package to a UPS drop-off location. Any other return labels will not be provided by us.
- Returns/exchanges will NOT be accepted on any special order items, books, jewelry, pillows, rugs, gift cards, bath/beauty items, fragrance, home cleaning products, furniture, or final sale/ clearance items.
- Returning an item is at your own risk. You must ensure that the item is adequately packaged and, at your option and cost, insured. We are not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging by you or if the item is damaged or lost while being returned to us. Items that are damaged when we receive them will not be eligible for refund.
We operate as a small business and we so appreciate you supporting us! Our return policy helps us run this small business to operate both efficiently and wisely. We hope you can understand that we cannot except used items back. All items returned should be sent back in their original condition, in the original packaging with tags on.
For items that have been damaged in transit please email email@example.com and include pictures of the damage, and pictures of the shipping box as well. Once we receive your email, we'll determine next steps. Emails for damages MUST be received within 7 days of delivery date. Anything received later than that will not be eligible for exchange or refund.
If damage occurs during shipment, all original packaging must be kept until you are notified otherwise.

Any item returned after 15 days from order date is not eligible for exchange/store credit.
Items Not Eligible for Return/Exchange
Please note that we do not accept returns of special order/ drop ship items, furniture, lighting, books, pillows, rugs, jewelry, bath/ beauty/ personal care items, food, gift cards, any personalized or custom-made products, final sale merchandise, Seasonal / Fall / Holiday items, or products that are specified as non-returnable in its description. Returns are not allowed on any Sale collection purchases.
Processing a Return/Exchange
A store credit or exchange will be issued once we have received your returned items. Any items that are damaged when we receive them are not eligible for exchange/store credit. Returns/exchanges do not include any shipping or handling charges, except in the case of faulty or damaged items. Your store credit will be issued and emailed upon return approval.
Sales & Promotions
We often have sales and promotions. Please note sales and promotions can differ online and in store. The following exclusions apply to all sales & promotions: Discount does not apply to prior purchases. Discount applies to full priced merchandise only. Discount cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts or coupons. Discount does not apply to special order items. Discount does not apply to gift card sales.
