Honey contains natural alpha-hydroxy acids that gently exfoliate the delicate skin of the lips, while beeswax provides essential fatty acids and vitamins. Beeswax also is a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the air and locks it into skin to help keep it hydrated over time.
